Do It For Your Health!
Everyone knows that eating vegetarian or vegan is a boon to the environment, but did you know that it's also better for your body? From losing weight, to adding fiber, to providing essential nutrients and healthy fats, you can't go wrong with a veg diet! Vegetarian and vegan diets have also been shown to reverse heart disease and diabetes, reduce cancer risks, and stave off osteoporosis. Come hear Patrick Neustatter MD, speak about Food as Medicine at our next Veg Group meeting on Saturday, May 2nd, from 11:30-1:00pm.
